Standard Training & Qualification
Section 6BA(4) Card Eligibility
Fellow Members, Manager Members, and Operative Members of the Hong Kong Institute of Utility Specialists (HKIUS) who fully satisfy all HKIUS qualification criteria are eligible to receive a construction industry membership card.
This card is issued under Section 6BA(4) of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance (“the Ordinance”), as the Commissioner for Labour has officially recognized that the safety training required to achieve these membership statuses meets or exceeds the statutory standards required under Section 6BA of the Ordinance.
