Notice for Annual Renewal for current members

To maintain professional qualifications of our membership, member is required to be renewed annually. Please submit all the following items before due date. For members who fail to submit for over 2 years, membership will be suspended automatically and new application as member may be required. Deadline for all submissions – on or before 31st March for next session renewal. * Subscription had been renewed as effective from the session 2019/20 (i.e. start from 1st April 2019), please note new subscription on the new membership form 1. Annual Subscription (* Period: 1st Apr – 31st March)  – Please make a crossed cheque payable to “Hong Kong Institute of Utility Specialists” and post; or, – Pay by bank deposit to the following account and return the bank-in-slip to HKIUS office via email or post; Bank name : Bank of China Account name : Hong Kong Institute of Utility Specialists Account no. 012-565-2-002331-6 * please write your membership no. or full name at the back of the cheque or the bank-in-slip.

2. CPD Record (*Period: 1st Jan – 31st Dec)

Continuous Professional Development hours must be required with 35 CPD hours or above per year, including 10 hours minimum in safety related.

If failed to submit for one year, please do submit in coming year with totally 70 hours in consecutive two years & including 20 hours minimum in safety related. Maximum only 2 consecutive years is accepted.

– For training CPD, this must be relevant to the discipline applied which was conducted and certificate issued by Registered Training Organization (RTO) of HKIUS, namely * CIC, recognized universities (such as PolyU, including SPEED), IVE or all local institutes registered with statutory authorities.

3. Job record list for the previous year (*Period: 1st Jan – 31st Dec)

Job record list for those professional member (i.e. operative/Manager/Fellow Members) for whole year.
